I'm not sure which type of blinds to go for.

Blinds come in all sorts of designs and features to accommodate for all types of shading and privacy requirements. A few things to consider are:

  • The room it is being used in. For kitchens or bathrooms you might want to consider a PVC fabric or a venetian blind suitable for damp conditions, whereas for a bedroom you might want to look at blackout fabrics and window drapings such as roman blinds and curtains.
  • How much privacy and light control you want.
  • The existing colour scheme and any furniture or décor you want to compliment.
