1. Ensure you have 6mm clearance around your uPVC window beading to allow space for the Perfect Fit frame

 

2. Measure the width and drop of the glass area from seal-to-seal. We recommend you take measurements from each corner and one from the middle. Make a note of the shortest measurements.

 

3. Next, meaure the depth of the window using a depth gauge. If you don't have access to one, you can place a ruler or a similar rigid object over the corner of the window frame and measure the distance down to the glass. This measurement is usually between 18mm - 24mm and will determine the size of the fixing brackets you will require.

We would recommend checking the measurements again before placing the order to ensure the correct measurements have been provided.

Our Perfect Fit brackets are available in 18mm/20mm/22mm/24mm projection sizes. Calculate the correct bracket your require by measuring the depth from the face of the window frame to the actual glass. The brackets slide between the glass and the seal while the Perfect Fit frame is simply clipped on to secure.
